Attack on Nice?

Reports are coming in of an attack on July 14 celebrators in Nice, France. Gunfire and a car driving into a crowd at the Promenade des Anglais have been reported. CNN is reporting “dozens dead.” Is the Islamic State behind the attack? Right now it’s unclear. However, Terrorism Research & Analysis Consortium reports that ISIS terrorist accounts are posting about it.
A tweet sent out by an ISIS-supporting Twitter account links the Nice attack to the death of Abu Omar al-Shishani, a Georgian Chechen commander of the Islamic State that ISIS recently admitted had been killed, reports The Telegraph.
Breaking News reports that a vehicle crashed into Bastille Day crowd, sending everyone running. Videos of the chaos were quickly uploaded to Twitter. Watch those below.
Local resident Jimmy Ghazal reported that a truck loaded with gunmen crashed into a crowd. However, this has not been confirmed.
Bastille Day is celebrated every year on July 14 in France and other French-speaking countries around the world. It celebrates the beginning of the French Revolution, which occurred over 200 years ago.

Hope not - I love the promenade and the whole history behind it.
I was there last October (I distinctly remember paying 11 euros for a shit beer on the american beach on the promenade, which does need action on), I think it was about the time that Hairysotter had his meltdown, hope he is ok now

Local Mayor is tweeting about 'tens' of dead. Shots fired were apparently by the police. 30 sounds like a lot for a lorry, but what do I know.
